No, In order to make a reservation with us, we need to have check in and check out dates. (Understandably, the check in date is crucial.)
Yes, you can. However, there may be extra charges.
We first must have your information to run your credit report. We will accept a co-signer depending on your report. We will of course need to run your co-signer’s credit report as well.
Yes, just provide us with the information regarding your immigration visa status. For example, a student visa (F-1), a work visa (H-1) or a tourist visa (B-1) etc. Please be aware that we require a higher deposit for tourists with a visa waiver and tourist visa B1/B2.
For San Diego locations, we offer monthly and weekly room rentals. We offer a month-to-month lease and a 3-month lease, as well as weekly stays. We also offer nightly rentals at State St. and will only start accepting nightly rentals requested no earlier than 2 weeks before arrival. Please see pricing for details.
For San Francisco locations, we offer monthly and weekly rentals. Please see pricing for details. Nightly rental is also available for the private rooms at the Abigail and Garland locations. You will need to contact the locations for the up-to-date nightly prices. Abigail and Garland will only start accepting nightly rentals requested no earlier than 2 weeks before arrival.
No, unfortunately, you cannot. However, you can always make a request and we will try to match it.
If reservation is canceled for any reason 3 days after the reservation is confirmed, you will be charged a $250 cancellation fee for Broadway or a $100 cancellation fee for all other locations.
There is no cancellation policy applied once you checked in. There is no refund for weekly stays and 30 day notice to vacate is required for monthly stay.
The proof of income can be your most recent paystubs, bank statement, and Job offer letter. Any proofs showing that you can afford to pay the monthly rent.
For a weekly stay, the total is due at the time of check-in. For monthly stays, the $25 application fee and $100 holding deposit are due at the time of the reservation and will be charged to your credit card. The rest of the charges are due upon check-in. Please note: At the Broadway location, the holding deposit is $250.
We accept cash, money orders, traveler’s checks, and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard ONLY).
No, we only accept payments in U.S. Dollars.
Yes, it is refundable upon or after check out. The security deposit is not returned by cash. It must be refunded by a company check if it is paid by cash, traveler’s checks and money orders, and it will be refunded to the same credit card if you paid by credit card.
State St. & Hillcrest: For US citizens, we conduct a credit check and the deposit range is from $500.00 to one month of rent. If you are non US citizen and have a “Tourist Visa” the deposit is equal to “one month of rent”. If you have a “Student Visa” the deposit is $500.00.
Broadway: For US citizens, we conduct a credit check and the deposit range is from $650.00 to two month of rent. If you are non US citizen and have a “Tourist Visa” the deposit is equal to “one month of rent”. If you have a “Student Visa” the deposit is $650.00 for studios and equal to one month of rent for all other units.
Gaslamp: For US citizens, we conduct a credit check and the deposit range is from $500.00 to one month of rent. If you are non US citizen and have a “Tourist Visa” the deposit is equal to “one month of rent”. If you have a “Student Visa” the deposit is $500.00.
State St.: A small room is approx. 180 sq. ft., a large room is approx. 230 sq. ft., and a double occupancy room is approx. 230 sq. ft.
Broadway location: a studio is approx 400-450 sq. ft., a small one bedroom is approx 520 sq. ft., a large one bedroom is approx 620 sq. ft., and two bedroom is approx 700 sq. ft.
Gaslamp: A loft is approx. 220-250 sq.ft, a double room is approx. 250-300 sq.ft.
Hillcrest: A small room is approx.. 180 sq. ft., medium room is approx. 220 sq.ft, and a large room is approx.. 260 sq.ft.
Matching and shared mean that you share a unit with another student/s of the same gender in a double or triple occupancy unit — “Roommate” style. We provide a roommate for you.
State St. & Hillcrest : Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the building. We also have community PCs for our guests.
Broadway: We provide DSL internet access in each unit.
Gaslamp: Yes, a free wireless connection is available throughout the building.
San Francisco locations: Yes, a free wireless connection is available within the building.
State St. & Hillcrest: Yes, all utilities are included in the rent.
Broadway: Yes, all utilities are included in the rent except the electricity exceeding over $100 per month.

Yes, all our units are furnished.
State Street: our units are simply furnished, with twin size or full size beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The units are also equipped with a TV, a telephone, a small fridge and a microwave.
Broadway: our units are fully furnished and are equipped with a full kitchen (with cooking utensils and china), a TV, and a DVD player. Each unit also comes with an iron, an iron board, and a vacuum cleaner.
Gaslamp: our units are simply furnished with a TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a dresser/closet, a desks & a chairs. Loft units come with a full size bed, Matching units come with 2 twin beds, and Eco units come with 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds).
Hillcrest : our units are simply furnished, with a full size bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The units are also equipped with a TV, a telephone, a small fridge and a microwave.

There is no air conditioning but there is heating. Portable air conditioner may be optional at an additional cost (limited availability).
State Street: Bi-weekly housekeeping service is included.

San Diego locations: Yes, there are a trolley station and bus stops within close walking distance of State Street. There is also a #2 bus stop within walking distance of the Broadway location. For more information about transportation in San Diego, please go to www.sdcommute.com.
San Francisco locations: Muni bus stops and train stations are closely located to each of the three locations.
San Diego: A cab ride is the cheapest and quickest way to get to Vantaggio Suites from the airport. It costs you approx.. $15 to State St., approx. $20 to Gaslamp, Broadway and Hillcrest.
San Francisco: A shuttle bus is recommended since it will take you straight to our hotel and it is relatively inexpensive ($15.00 on average) compared to a cab.
San Diego locations: No.
San Francisco locations: Yes, we provide complimentary breakfast at all three locations for 7 days a week.
State St.: yes, we have a parking facility. There is an additional charge of $125 per month or $45 per week for a space. However, our parking spaces are limited and parking reservation is on a first come first served basis.
Broadway: an assigned underground parking space is included in the rent.In addition, there are additional parking remote deposits of $20 for State St. and $25 for Broadway. (Refundable)
Gaslamp: No, however there are many public parking spaces around the building.
Hillcrest: yes, we have a parking facility. There is an additional charge of $100 per month or $35 per week for a space. However, our parking spaces are limited and parking reservation is on a first come first served basis.
Turk Street location: parking spaces are available at a rate of $200.00 per month.
All other locations: no parking spaces are available.
A minor (someone under 18) must send us a signed Waiver of Liability form before the check-in. The form and the rental agreement will be provided by Vantaggio Suites to be signed by the legal guardian or parent of the minor.
Yes, we have Facebook fan sites for San Francisco and San Diego. We update the fan sites constantly with our current events, activities and resident photos. Please become a fan.
Our guaranteed check in time is 3pm. However you can arrive earlier and leave your luggage at the front desk. There are many restaurants within walking distance. We also have a lounge and PC rooms that you are welcome to use before the check in time.
Front desk is open 24 hours. You can check out anytime before 11am. However, we recommend you to come see us one day before, between 8am and 4pm to finish your paperwork for the check out.
Unfortunately, we don’t accept late check out. Our check out time is by11am. We recommend you to reserve an extra day if you would like to checkout late. However, we can hold your luggage at the front desk for a few hours after your check out if you wish.
